The factory key fob was designed by accountants, not adventurers - it has the structural integrity of a potato chip and was probably born pre-cracked. Stop wrapping it in electrical tape. This case is the upgrade that finally matches the truck. 🌲

Read first - the transponder swap: your immobilizer chip (transponder) is molded into the original key head, so you'll need to carefully cut it free from your factory fob. It's a delicate, patient job, and it will permanently destroy your original housing - there's no going back once you start. Having a second fob on hand is recommended. Watch a few tutorials first.

Was definitely tedious to get the old chip out but definitely helped to have a Dremel to slowly sand away the plastic. Love the look and feel of it.
